Laterooms Sponsorship Idents - Channel 4
The core idea of these films is to show a 3D pop up book bursting with amazing looking hotel rooms waiting to be explored.
The visuals invite the viewer to step inside the 3D pop up book and look around the rooms.
The animation was created entirely in CG and combined with shot photographic elements of the hotel rooms which were composited with 3D projection mapping inside the book.
Although the animation is CG, I wanted to create an authentic stop frame animation style so the film has a tactile feeling as if the animation was made by hand.
