Heineken - Star Match
The films used Time Slice photography to create an exciting online gaming experience.
It’s a smart technique that took the classic game, Spot the Difference and gave it a very contemporary and unusual twist.
We had three scenarios showing the Star Player fans watching an important Uefa Champion League match in which their teams are playing.
Using time slice camera technology, we move through the apartments at the exact moment a crucial goal has been scored. The fans are frozen in states of celebration, dejection and finally elation as their team scores the winning goal.
The user can explore two identical scenes by scrolling through the scenes in full frame 3D, to spot the 8 differences e.g. a missing ice cube or a goldfish suspended in mid air.
If all 8 differences are found within a given time slot you win a great prize - a flat screen LCD TV and a keg of Heineken to enjoy the match.
The scenes are fun and engaging to explore and play with, bringing viewers back again and again. The filmic quality of the image and the impressive technique gave Heineken brand kudos and supported the message of the product as a top class, premium lager.
